TIAA-CREF has been named an ENERGY STAR award winner for the third year in a row, this time receiving the program’s highest honor – Sustained Excellence. Supported by JDM’s energy management expertise, TIAA-CREF has benchmarked 100% of its office and multifamily properties' energy performance, reduced the office portfolio’s energy use by nearly 5% and the multifamily portfolio’s use by 6.5% in 2009 alone, and earned the ENERGY STAR label for superior energy performance at more than 85 buildings.
