JDM has decades of experience designing and delivering curricula to help our clients maximize the impact of their sustainability programs. We develop a strategic training approach, create materials and presentations customized for clients’ desired topics, and deliver on-site or Web-based sessions to motivate and educate target audiences. JDM personnel have developed and presented curricula to thousands of attendees in hundreds of training sessions. We are able to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences, from executives to engineers to building occupants. Topics have included creating a strategic energy management program; benchmarking energy and water use; best practices for sustainable, efficient real estate operations and management; making the business case for sustainability; innovative, green design and construction techniques; training on specific technical systems or conservation measures; and methods for communicating and rewarding success.

JDM organizes workshops and meetings to educate a wide range of real estate, government, and business audiences on energy and environmental topics. In preparation for workshops, we assist our clients to conceptualize their goals and desired content. We leverage our networks to conduct outreach to possible speakers and attendees, prepare participants for their roles, and develop agendas and background materials. JDM personnel are exceptionally skilled at facilitating workshops and leading panel discussions, generating a robust dialogue among speakers and attendees; we also provide logistical support and note-taking during an event. Finally, we prepare meeting summaries and perform follow-up to ensure the workshop was valuable for both our client and attendees.
